ASSOCIATION OF CONCERNED CHRISTIAN PROFESSORS AND THEOLOGICAL INSTRUCTORS (ACCPATI)
The Association of Concerned Christian Professors and Theological Instructors (ACCPATI) is a distinguished non-governmental, non-denominational, and non-political organization committed to the promotion of excellence in Christian higher education. Registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with registration number CAC/IT-7306239, and headquartered in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria, ACCPATI serves as a beacon of collaborative engagement and professional development for Christian educators across the globe.
In collaboration with the Association of Chartered Christian Instructors, England and Wales, United Kingdom, and Integrated Theological Education Assessment Services, Nigeria, Also, Christian Accreditation Council and Standard Commission (CACSCOM International), ACCPATI stands as a unique platform that brings together professors, instructors, researchers, and practitioners from various Christian colleges, universities, and seminaries worldwide. Our mission is to foster meaningful dialogue, share best practices, and address contemporary challenges in Christian theology and religious education, all while upholding the values of the Christian faith and maintaining academic rigor in teaching and research.

The vision of the Association of Concerned Christian Professors and Theological Instructors shall include:
- To promote and uphold the highest standards of academic excellence in the field of Christian theology and religious education.
- To foster a community of scholars and educators who are committed to ethical and moral principles in their teaching, research, and professional conduct.
- To facilitate meaningful collaboration and dialogue among members, encouraging interdisciplinary exchange and the exploration of diverse perspectives within the Christian theological tradition.
- To nurture the next generation of Christian professors and theological instructors, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and ethical grounding necessary for effective leadership in their respective academic and professional contexts.

The missions of the Association of Concerned Christian Professors and Theological Instructors shall include the following:
- To enhance the academic and intellectual development of members through scholarly activities, research support, and professional development opportunities.
- To advocate for ethical and moral principles within the academic and professional realms, promoting integrity, fairness, and compassion in all aspects of teaching, research, and service.
- To foster a supportive and collaborative community among Christian professors and theological instructors, facilitating networking, mentorship, and the exchange of ideas and resources.
- To promote the development of innovative and relevant curricula in Christian theology and religious education, equipping educators to engage students effectively in matters of faith, ethics, and spirituality.
- To encourage members to actively engage with broader society, offering informed perspectives on contemporary issues from a Christian theological standpoint and contributing to public discourse on matters of faith and morality.
- To provide leadership training and mentorship for emerging Christian professors and theological instructors, nurturing their potential as ethical, effective, and influential leaders in academia and beyond.
- To support and facilitate international collaborations, research partnerships, and educational initiatives that contribute to the global advancement of Christian theology and religious education.
Our Objectives
- To Promote Christian Values in Education: To promote excellence in teaching and research within the field of Christian theology and related disciplines. Promotion of ethical and moral standards within academic and professional contexts, in accordance with Christian principles.
- To Provide a Platform for Networking and Collaborations among Christian Educators and Professionals: Facilitating opportunities for members to connect, collaborate on research projects, and engage in interdisciplinary discussions with peers in the field.
- To encourage Research and Publication: Encouraging scholarly inquiry and the dissemination of research findings through academic journals, publications, and presentations at conferences.
- To Engage in Advocacy and Outreach: Addressing ethical, social, and theological concerns within the broader community, and promoting the value of Christian education and theological instruction.
- To Foster Professional Development among Christian Educators and Professionals: Offering workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance the pedagogical and research skills of members, as well as providing resources for career advancement.
- To Provide Mentorship and Support: Providing mentorship programs for early-career educators and instructors, as well as offering support for professional challenges and career transitions.
- To engage in discussions and initiatives aimed at addressing contemporary issues and challenges facing Christian education and theological instruction.
